W ubiegłym roku Metallica ogłosiła plany wydania zremasterowanych albumów Kill 'Em All i Ride The Lightning. Wczoraj wieczorem oficjalna strona zespołu poinformowała, że oba zremasterowane albumy będą dostępne w sprzedaży od 15 kwietnia. Albumy dostępne będą w formacie CD, na winylu i w wersji deluxe, która zawierać będzie nie udostępnione nigdy wcześniej materiały.
Kill 'Em All w wersji deluxe zawierał będzie cztery winyle, pięć CD i jedną DVD, a także książeczkę z rzadkimi zdjęciami zespołu. Z kolei Ride The Lightning zawierał będzie cztery winyle, sześć CD i jedną DVD. Znajdziemy tam również nie publikowane wcześniej zdjęcia, w twardej oprawie, a także książeczkę ze słowami utworów napisanych przez Jamesa oraz trzy plakaty.
