Wczoraj, co podkreślił również James, był wyjątkowy dzień. I nie chodzi tu tylko o datę - 6.6.(200)6 - wczoraj Metallica na koncercie w Berlinie zaprezentowała nowy utwór, nie ma on jeszcze tytułu. Utwór składa się z kilku riffów bardzo ciekawie połączonych, Lars gra na podwójnej stopie, początek przypomina St. Anger jednak już po chwili można porównać go do Leper Messiah czy Ain't My Bitch. Piosenka trwa osiem minut... i w osłupienie zakończone mocnymi brawami wprawiła około 20 tysięcy obecnych na obiekcie fanów. Poniżej kilka linków do kawałka oraz wczorajsza setlista:

Na dzisiejszym koncercie w holenderskim Arnhem Metallica ponownie zagrała New Song!!! Czy na kolejnych pięciu festiwalowych koncertach utwór ten znów zabrzmi? Przekonamy się w najbliższą sobotę.
